Zoë Collins is an illustrator and graphic designer who has a penchant for books of all descriptions. Working with key clients, Zoë’s strengths lie in quirky and witty illustration, branding, and communication strategy — with an emphasis on delivering originality and a strong visual presence.
Zoë has a Bachelor of Arts (University of Qld, 1997), and a Diploma in Visual Communication (DCA, 2003). Her experience ranges from working in boutique design studios, an architecture firm, several bookstores and her own graphic design studio which she ran for many years.
Zoë has tutored typography, design and illustration at QUT, Griffith University and Southbank Institute of Technology and has been a professional mentor for aspiring graphic designers.
Zoë has a website which showcases her illustration and design portfolio, and a blog called ‘Hoodlum Friends’ which she writes and illustrates as frequently as she can.
She lives in sunny Brisbane, Australia with her family which includes a very bad cat called Monty.
